Fashion Week finally to come to Tel Aviv

I introduce to you TLV FW!

Tel Aviv has long been known to be a cultural hub of upcoming designers and artists.

At first sight TLV is not the trendiest of places, but when you start investigating the city you will be surprised by its ebullient life and amazing new designers as well as artists.

With the council currently bringing new exciting areas such as the port which has old warehouses turned into fashionboutiques, big openspace areas, and delicious cafés and restaurants, as well as the newly redecorated transtration in the ancient city of yaffo, which hosts fashion boutiques selling new Israeli designers, Tel Aviv is a growing fashionmecca.

I must say I am excited about TLV FW.

McQueen at the V&A

The V&A museum in London is considering to bring the hyped MET "Savage Beauty" Alexander McQueen exhibition home to London! YES YES YES!

Since 2005 when I bought my first Vogue Magazine and saw an image of beautiful black, elegant, fishtail dress by Alexander McQueen's, I have been in love with the designer ever since. That season he presented us to a classic and very modest collection which I fell for. I loved how elegant the models looked. And this was also the introduction of the famous Novak bag.

Since he has brought us into the future, back to 1692 Salem, introduced me to Isabella Blow, walked us through the jungle in armadillo-heels and couture-like dresses. All this with fantastic scene shows and a focused vision.

I hope this exhibition will soon find its way from NY to LDN!

Colour Explosion

In collaboration with graphic designer Cha-Art I have experienced with colour and materials.
I absolutely love the textures and colours that we achieved by our experiment! More photos can be found on http://www.Cha-Art.co.uk

Copenhagen Fashion Week SS12

Although a little late, a sum-up of my favourite shows.

Designers Remix. My favourite show of this fashion week. Charlotte Eskildsen invites us to a toga party together with pastel colours, and monochrome blocking. And also presenting me to that one thing I must save up to next season, a 3/4 sleeve jacket with a low fastening. Lovely.

Stine Goya. Beautiful simplistic Ballon Imaginaire showcased porcelainskinned models floating across the catwalk in flowing gowns and pastel colours.
- I love the colour combination of the fuchsia/yellow and I am in love with the gold skirt, and the handcraft which has been put into the sequins of the air-balloon.

Jacobs to replace Galliano?

Recent rumours tweet that Marc Jacobs is top of the list to replace John Galliano as headdesigner for Dior.

Although he will be missed at Louis Vuitton; How awesome would it be if Galliano was replaced by a jew?
